It lets me use a wider aperture without the need to use ND filters. But when shooting model swimsuit stuff at the beach, I have to sometimes use an 8x ND on the D700 or F2 because my RF slaves will not synch above 1/200 sec. Since my favorite outdoor portrait lens is my 180mm f/2.8 and I like working at f/4 most of the time, it is a necessity to use ND filters, even at ISO 100 on the D700. I would love it if the D700 went to 25 ISO. Alas I really miss Panatomic-X or Kodachrome 25 sometimes!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
