Hi All! I am looking for some advice please before I go completely nuts! My D700 was packed away safely after our last trip to the US back in October '17. I followed the same process that I always do - removed card and batteries etc etc. Today I put a newly charged battery into the grip ready to capture the action at my 7 year olds birthday party. The camera showed 'for' on the display so I assumed it was a card that hadn't been used for a while and needed formatting so I proceeded to format it. Still the same message shows - so this time I format it using the menus (previously I used the 2 button combo) Still the same :-( I tried a different card and the same kept happening. 10 cards later and the same message appears - the cards are readable in my D200 so I'm fearing the worst for the D700. Has anyone encountered the same issue and been able to fix it ? Many thanks in advance Alastair
