Message: <blockquote data-quote="BackdoorArts" data-source="post: 338073" data-attributes="member: 9240">Man, someone still has bees in their bonnet.  "Good will repair" is a longstanding term in just about every service sector that simply qualifies a repair outside of any warranty that costs the company in parts and time but not the customer.  It's not like Nikon pulled the term out of thin air.  I suspect it's used to codify General Ledger entries so that the costs can be written off in a particular way.  The fact that people who are getting their cameras fixed see it on their forms and complain about it on the internet is just an unfortunate side effect - but hell, what don't people complain about on the internet?</blockquote>
