Loving the D600 still! It survived a drop off my stupid BlackRapid strap (screw gets loose and opens the carabiner....) Luckily it fell on gravel. It gave me an error for a moment, but it was ok after turning it off and on once. Happened during a wedding and you can only imagine my heart dropping when it fell. My backup body is a D80 for now... Wonder if the D610 rumor is true.. Mine has quite a bit of dust but it's pretty easy to clean up in post. Light painting done with samsung Galaxy phone ;) unbelievable.. first time taking picture of Milky Way much less even seeing it with my own eyes. This wasn't my first attempt--had to try different settings. Ended up with f/3.2, iso3200, 25sec. I didn't realize the Milky way was so huge... thought I would need to scour the sky for it. Guess I've lived in the city too long. It was easily visible and spanned the entire sky. This was taken somewhere in Idaho on my way to Jackson Hole, WY.
