In live view, on the touch screen, the triangle settings and storage capacity (how many shots will fit) is shown. When switching to viewfinder mode, the screen momentarily displays the triangle settings and 14 more camera settings. In the viewfinder there is the typical settings display across the bottom. There is no analog display on top of the camera. From day one there has been a screen protector on this unit. Vello is the brand and it is 0.02" optical glass with friction adhesion.
