D5100 cannot focus need help, tried changing lens but still cannot focus

Ozmon if that AE/AF lock was set to keep the shutter button from activating autofocusing it would've been fixed by a reset. Were you able to successfully reset the camera?



Typed with two fingers on a bright shiny doodad.

bless the members knowledge base. My d5100 would not focus, tried all the usual stuff no luck. Reset f2 in custom menu as suggested and all is ok. Thanks NICKT.
