Did this several times - then a totall reset - then removed the batterie etc. etc. but mine keeps giving iso400 without giving higher iso when I point to dark rooms. He does noet follow the light, just indicates 4x the iso100 low setting in my auto-iso. I have also an old D7000 - it behaves the same way, but during my shoot I am certain that the D500 performed by giving high iso readings so that I could see what I was doing before taking the shot- now it is after....I hope it will fix itself soon.
