I was traveling recently and when I unpacked my camera, I found that it had been switched on by accident during baggage handling, and of course the battery was drained. I'm trying to charge it now in the standard adapter that comes with the camera, but rather than having the usual steady blinking light, the blinking is irregular and has great gaps in between. Has anybody else had similar issues with their battery after accidentally draining it? I tried putting it back in a while ago (normally I have enough charge to at least switch on the camera after 15 mins), but nothing happened. I'll wait a little while longer with it charging, but is there a good chance the battery's completely kaputt? Thanks!
