I haven't tried either one, so I can't say which sensor takes better pictures. But image quality trumps features in my book.

Image quality will be a greater issue on the d3200 if you decide you want to get into HDR. Manual bracketing is slow and conditions change fast.

Don't try this at home...,

One failed attempt was based on the "extra paycheck" concept. Since we get paid every 2 weeks, twice a year the extra paycheck month occurs. I suggest she keep hers and I keep mine (mine is about 10x's as much :)).

Somehow she caught on :(!

They're tricky little critters. Just when you think you've got one out-foxed, they pull the rug out from under you. :dejection:
