You should be able to see what is happening. If 1/10 is too fast, use 5 seconds. This is a good way to diagnose the camera, by looking at what it is doing. If the mirror doesn't go up, you've got a problem. If the mirror does go up but you don't see the curtain opening, then you have another problem. Whatever your problem is, I think you might have to send the camera for repair. I hope it's still warrantied for you.Keep us informed.</blockquote>
