A local pro-shop told me to send it back. It looks like I have to send my camera back to Nikon (sigh, just in time for Christmas) as I purchased from Wolf Camera this spring and they are no longer in business. I appreciate all of you trying to help. Just really bummed that I've got to be without a camera for a while. (should never have sold my old Nikon, oh well).So, after all this experience - should have I went with another model? Or is D3100 a good camera and this was just a fluke?</blockquote>
