I decided to pick up my D3100 after a long time of not using it. I am using a Nikon DX AF-S 18-55mm G and a AF-S DX 18-70mm G ED. They work perfectly on my D70s, but for some reason, when I put them on my D3100 it manages to take photos only if I am pushing them a little bit up. Is it bad pin connection? I cleaned all the pins and the contact points on the camera mount. But it still continues doing it. Is the flash button stuck? Please help me! All help is very much appreciated :D This is also my first post here btw! This community seems awesome! Have a nice weekend everyone :)
