Message: <blockquote data-quote="cwgrizz" data-source="post: 580058" data-attributes="member: 27017">First attempt at using a new ND Filter I purchased a few months ago.  This was a learning experience, first in trying to get the exposure correct and then trying to decide how slow to set the shutter for a nice effect.  After a number of shots that were so-so, I noticed a red tint band in the middle.  Then I remembered that the Viewfinder needed to be covered.  This was after I covered the viewfinder and ran out of time to play.  I almost think that it was a little long for the shutter.  To me it almost looks too smooth.  Other than that I like it.
