CPL Filter Help

So I wanted to go try out my CPL filter the other day and I noticed that nothing was really happening. It was a decent day out with a light blue sky and I noticed that it didn't look any different in the photos. I kept rotating it and yet it would barely make any difference if any. Am I doing something wrong?

CPLs work on the blue sky best at a 90° degree from the sun. If you're aiming too close or too far from the sun, the CPL will not be as effective.

A lot of the time the angle of the sun will make it seem that it is not working. Point it at a car window where you can not see anything but glare. Turn the filter and watch the glass disappear. Either that or you bought a really cheap filter.

I completely forgot about the angle in relation to the sun thing. That might be it. It definitely isn't a cheap filter. lol

When I am shooting with a CPL I rotate it while looking through the viewfinder to see what I like best (when I remember in the heat of the moment. Ha!) When the angle is there, you will definitely see the difference in the viewfinder. Sometimes I like more and sometimes less in the effect. It just depends on what I am shooting.
