I buy carefully off of eBay. Many brick and mortar legit store sell on eBay - overstock, sales, used, ... and often backed by the store guarantee. eBay is not all black market. EG Henry's and Vistek in Canada and Roberts in the US are samples. But sometimes cheap cheap is good enough. Yes I can pay $100 for a nice shiny reflector - or $10 from China. Not black market in that it isn't pretending to be something it is not. But come on its a shiny bit of material for reflecting Light. "But it wont' last" - True. If I wear one out, I'll buy another, maybe if I wear three or four out I might think that it is worth buying a better quality one. But maybe I will try it, decide it ain't working for me and move on. I also buy lots of model railway stuff on line - used from private sellers mostly. And handmade teddy bears (my wife's passion) - many of these teddy bear artists only sell on eBay. Don't through the baby out with the eBay bathwater.
