Could use a recommendation before printing a photo

I have a photo that has been edited in a couple of different ways. I'm hoping to get some opinions on which you feel is the better picture. This is the first picture that I'm getting printed out and framed, so I'd like to make sure I have the correct color corrections made.

Photo B

Can you tell me your opinion on the graphic, and also which you prefer?

On my screen i prefer the second lighter one,but it should please you first its your picture and your memory, have you considered a crop viewing pictures is a very subjective matter my eyes go straight to the tree and then because there is space to the left of it my brain takes a second or two to decide which way to take my eyes instead of straight into the picture they stray to the left of the tree first.
After saying that its a lovely picture and ime not surprised you want it framed.

Greens are oversaturated in A for me, but under in B. Are you using Lightroom? If you're looking to print there's a SoftProofing option that will allow you to evaluate how your photo will reproduce on various printer and paper types. You might need to do some work to find the profiles for what you want, but it will show you areas in the photo that will not reproduce accurately using that printer/paper combination. I suspect most printers might have issues with the first.

Check the Adobe site for tutorials on using SoftProofing if you haven't done it before.

I agree. The first is too green, and the second is too little. Is your monitor calibrated so you can determine how a photo will print out?

A very good point. Calibrating both monitors and using printer profiles is critical if you want a WYSIWYG print solution.

I thought the rules stated I could post an additional picture if I linked it off of my website?

This type of post would be better suited to a different section. Maybe set up a thread for your daily photos.
