At $1799 for the kit, that $1899 D600 Kit on Amazon yesterday was the one you should be shaking your heads over. Too bad Costco doesn't have a deal on just the body.

Whats Costco? :p

It's a large retail store chain offering general merchandise at discounted prices in huge "warehouse" stores. They operate over 600 stores, mostly in North America, but over 100 are operating in other nations. Their annual sales revenue exceeds $100 Billion USD. To make a purchase you must pay a one-time annual membership fee ($55.00 USD).

Yeah I know it was tongue in cheek, but we do not have them here ;-)

Yep, I merely served up a thumbnail Wall Street investment description, knowing that most people in this world have never heard of Costco. My wife and I are not members, as we just don't seem to buy much. The retailing science behind warehouse clubs is an interesting study, from store layout to their extra-large shopping carts to the mix of merchandise. We'd have trouble finding space for even one Costco cartload in our house!

I was actually thinking about the psychology behind the shopping carts, and how it doesn't look like you have that much in the cart when you really just spent $200 on 40lbs of various chips. If it's any indication how large they are they have two seats for kids!
