Looking at the full sized version under magnification, I would say the eye is as sharp as the rest of the bird.
This was one of the first few images I used Topaz on, and unfortunately I over sharpened it a bit. Like many, I got carried away with the new software toy before settling down. Not really noticeable without magnifying it way beyond normal enlargement. Also, unfortunately, I lost the RAW file earlier this year, so all I have is the edited version.
