Message: <blockquote data-quote="Whiskeyman" data-source="post: 417186" data-attributes="member: 13556">Nice, Rodbender!  This reminds me of an episode that occurred  at my parent's neighbors a few years ago.  Their two grandchildren were eating Cheerios outside at the pic-a-nic table, when a couple of Sandhill's flew in and just strode over and helped themselves.  Even with one of the kids screaming and recoiling in horror, the birds acted like it was no big deal.  Of course, as soon as one of the adults moved to go get a camera, the birds bolted.My guess is that they get fed a bit around there, and was interested in what you might have for it to eat, but is very happy to not be in the cold with you right now!  Burr!Wayne</blockquote>
