Chromatic aberration

I was just reading a lens review and it talked about the LATERAL (or transverse) and the LONGITUDINAL chromatic aberration. I know what CA looks like but couldn't name/identify different types. Here is a good explanation.

In fact one of the advantages of using true APO Chromatic lenses (Zeiss 135mmF2 APO) is that the effects of diffraction are shifted by a few F stops beyond F11. For lenses which have chromatic aberration, the diffraction effects sets in earlier, as the CA also contributes to the "fuzziness" of the image.
