This is a picture taken by William Ealahan Jr. He posted this on another site that I am a member of and I was fascinated by the stars in the left hand side of the moon making it truly look like half the moon was missing. I did get his OK to post this on our site and I want to be clear that it is HIS image and NOT mine. Take a close look at this photo.

So much noise and with the camera shakey moon it looks like it was taken with a short telephoto lens and blown up.
OK, I took a close look - what am I looking for?

I took a screen shot of the image and posted it. You all saw noise and I saw stars well I guess my imagination is much better than my eyesight!!! I guess this is what you call a senior moment. I want all of you ro know my fascination with image has now drained to zero.

How about a link to where the original is posted?

There is no way to do that and get you to the picture but it looks the same there. This is a link to the site. It was started locally as the "Mississippi Gulf Coast Photography Club" and has now grown to 6,722 members from all over the United States and other countries. People set up events often for us locals to meet at. We had about 20 photographer members and several other that showed up as models this past Tuesday. There are already two more events scheduled for the next few weeks. Here is a link to our site if you care to check it out.
