Moving to FX, one minor concern was the occasional need for a general use or walk-around lens. When I had my D300, the NIKKOR 18-200 filled this niche nicely. I had read reviews on Fred Miranda and SLR Gear and a discussion on Flickr regarding the AF Zoom-NIKKOR 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 IF. For the price and convenience, I'm very happy to add this to my kit.
