I know. But you missed the part where I was complaining that my store wouldn't credit the money directly back onto my card instead of issuing store credit. I was locked into their business with no way of getting out unless I used that money for something else. Which I didn't feel like doing at the moment. Well, maybe on those new D610's that came in yesterday :p I ended up getting the exact same one today for lack of options. The SAME EXACT one. It hadn't even sold yet since I returned it! Oddly, the quick release issue wasn't showing itself when I was trying it back on in the store, even with a 70-200 attached. Strange stuff.. *Sigh. I suppose I'll live with the weirdo plate. They do sell the plate alone on Amazon, but it's some ridiculous price, maybe $35 or $40, I can't remember. I'll wait until they revise it and check them back out then, probably pick another up and sell this one at some point down the line. Anyway, for he who asked for photos and to better explain myself, here's a pic of the tripod plate connected to the camera with the CS plate on: I'm very tempted to order the CS strap from amazon and return it, just taking the baseplate for myself :p
