Capture NX-D's "Show Focus" doesn't work when using AF On mode

Hi everyone

I'm trying out a new focus method so I can recompose shots in camera. I've switched my AE-L / AF-L button to AF On and took a few shots where I would lock the focus and then recompose my shot.

Importing a few test shots into Capture NX-D, I switched on the 'Show Focus Point'... and nothing, for some reason focus points are no longer displaying, even on the test shot I took without recomposing.

Is this a fact of life within the software, is there a flaw in my technique... any ideas?

I don't know what cam you are using but on mine, AF on is the option to switch AF from the trigger to the back-button. It's not a focus lock on mine. Maybe that got something to do with it.

Have you edited the image at all? I think CNX-D can't read the focus point data in the EXIT if the image has been edited.
