Thanks very much! It went very well, with "Migration Assistant" seamlessly transferring all my data and settings to my new MacBook Pro. But guess what? Capture NX-D is non-functional on the new notebook! And I was so excited about seeing just how much faster the new M1 chipset would perform when processing images. I installed "Rosetta", which is supposed too allow older software to work on the new OS. It loads up and I can modify RAW and jpg files, but as soon as I try to convert them, the program crashes... it shuts down the instant I hit the "start" button to save or convert the file I've worked on. Luckily, View NX-i still seems to work OK on the new notebook. An error report was sent to Apple each time Capture NX-D crashed. I hope that means they'll try to get things sorted out. Edit to add: No problem! I just had to download the 64-bit version of Capture NX-D. All is well now!
