Appreciate the responses, though I expected the direction this would go ;-) Needless to say I've been through this discussion.. I do plan to get a fx camera sometime, maybe the d600... The intention is mainly to have a camera and one lens like the 18-135 or 18-200 and not buy any extra glass for it... She's tried my nikon and her brother uses a Canon.. She likes the feel of the Canon better... I have not decided anything though....
