When I installed my recently purchased Pixma PRO-1 printer on my PC desktop, there were two drivers: a) standard 8bit; and b) XPS 16bit. I installed both and they each show up when I select a printer. When I print from Lightroom 5, the XPS 16bit driver generated a thin vertical line on the print whereas the standard 8bit printed correctly. does anyone know if there is an incompatibility between Lightroom and the XPS 16bit driver? I used the XPS 16bit driver because the Canon information sheet said it would utilise more data and provide better transitions from one colour shade to the next. The thin vertical line appeared 34mm from the right edge of an A4 print. Below is the original image.
