So I figure the tripod I'll need will be costly. The tripod I have carries the weight but it is designed more for video cameras with the self leveling head. Sorry I fogot what the head type was called. But the biggest complaint I have with it besides being extremely slow to adjust, is that it will not get low enough for the bugs on the ground. Well that and it's a bit heavy even though it's carbon fiber!
