It is a lot of money to raise especially if they are doing babysitting and/or mowing yards. And for the latter, they might even need their own mower. Why not get your community involved? Perhaps set up a Go Fund Me page. To do it effectively, there needs to be something that will catch the community's eye. Try to come up with an idea that will allow the kids to volunteer in the community (not to be paid directly) that can be promoted by the local news outlets. Have them do something good.
