Simply stated, "Wow!!" Camera Raw 9.5 now available In the past Adobe has been 1 to 4 months behind Nikon, so the fact that they have Raw support before the release is amazing. This means either Nikon made the cameras available to Adobe before release, or Adobe got hold of pre-release versions of the cameras and reverse engineered RAW support. I'm hoping it's the first as the latter could lead to issues in the RAW interpretation if Nikon tweaks anything with the final release. The beta release of Adobe's DNG converter had issues with original RAW conversion for the D750 and there's questions as to whether they ever fully corrected it (I posted on this elsewhere - nothing is "broken" it's just not as clean as you get with other tools requiring more light work in post). Regardless, having ACR support for the D500 is the major hurdle I wanted cleared before I got one. Now I need to decide if I want to wait for any potential early adopter issues to clear or just jump in.
