I have switched to carrying less lens, and convential multi carpartment backpack with those extra pockets.  I like putting the camera in one, the largest zoom in the other, and small primes in the smaller pockets. I just find this easier, then the standard camera pack with the split space for the lens, and the space for the camera, With a conventional backpack, I can carry other things too by having more room.</blockquote>
