Camera Bean Bag

Is anyone using a Camera Bean Bag? I think I am going to need one cos Mr.P is putting the cam on floors, rocks, sand, etc..

What Camera Bean Bag should I buy or should I make it by myself?

Just make it yourself. I also use one of those bags that you can heat in the microwave to treat tired muscles. Small bags of rice work well also.

I have a sand bag in the car...I find it to be very stable...

I have an assortment now,one is a small polystyrene filled travel pillow,another is the sort you heat in the microwave to put on aches and pains,this one for my car window Camera Bean Bag Support WATERPROOF | eBay
When i was field target shooting i made a quick easy one,put poly beads in one of those zip lock food bags then put that bag in another upside down for strength and its done

Got this one too and brought it to our Niagara trip. Used it for a couple of times but that's it. In the end, I wish I brought my tripod. Those DIY ones mentioned here are probably a much better option.

I made my own. I used the plastic beads that people stuff teddy bears with. The reason I did that is you can't take rice or wheat on international flights. IT's not likely to go off either if it gets wet. I rarely use it these days now I have a tripod but it's still a good back up. I made mine with compartments which make it easier to fold for a thicker base if needed.
