I am a believer in filters to protect the lens (Not to debate this) so will probably get one for the 200-500 if I purchase it. I have either a clear or CP-L on all of my lenses 99% of the time, except the Tokina 11-16. I have been hesitant to add the additional glass on the UW due to the chance for flair. @BackdoorHippie Thanks Jake for your input on the TC. The Nikon seems to actually be 3 times as much as the Kenko even on the used market. I may have to look at the Sigma Sport. $1400 for the 200-500 and $500 for the used Nikon TC = $1900. For a little more the Sigma Sport which would give just 100mm less reach. Ha! Decisions, decisions. Are you still liking your Sigma?
