Buying D700 (Shutter and sequence base has been replaced) HELP PLEASE

I am about to pull the trigger on a Nikon D700 body which has had the shutter and sequence base replaced recently by a local camera store (work order is included). Is this a bad idea? Should I reconsider or should i give it the go? I am not sure if buying one with these parts replaced is asking for future problems
The asking price is $500.

Thanks for the help fellow nikonites.. Very much appreciated if someone could give me their two cents
:p

Hmmmm, the price seems to be on the low side, especially for a cam that has a brand new shutter. B&h has one with an 8/10 condition and they are selling it for $799. I would ask more questions about it, such as is it a grey market unit.

Is it returnable and how it is warrantied...?

Good fortune!
