You are already used to DX sensor of your D200, and at say 1100 dollars for the D7000 body, not a huge investment, but you will see the improvement over the D200. Yes the D800 is great, and for certain shots, the D7000 cannot match, but for 95% of the rest, D7000 is a great solid camera that any D200 user would like.</blockquote>
