I checked on the interwebs and all the way back in 2012, there were reports of new D800's showing up with broken 10 pins. You'd go to attach the remote to the connector and the connector would just push into the body. Those who got if fixed or didn't have the issue stuck a wireless adapter on there to reduce stress on the connector. </p><p></p><p>I am hoping someone has found a work around to the 10 pin issue.
