Last night had something new to try. Aurora coming through the clouds. I tried in a snow storm and although it looked cool to my eyes and I got completely covered in snow and froze everything my capture ended up just varying shades of red :( So I had a feeling my clouds would show reddish and I was correct but without the snow storm hehe it turned out much better. Wish I had PP software but I shot in raw so maybe one day I can fix some of my favorites up What I came up with I struggle with putting my landscape below in the thirds for nights because its so boring and I miss out on all the pretty stars up higher so I didn't like any that I had the landsacpe in the proper thirds. I gave up using higher iso and smaller aperture.
