I had a little 6 pound ball of fur that would not let anyone get near me. She was my constant companion 24/7 for close to 15 years. She got in bad health and was having problem walking and was in constant pain. We had to have her put to sleep. That was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I think dogs hold a special place in life and I can totally understand how attached we get to our pets. You can feel good about the good years that you gave her and remember the good times.The picture of the child walking the dog down the sidewalk is a wonderful photo.</blockquote>
