Message: <blockquote data-quote="snaphappy" data-source="post: 132346" data-attributes="member: 12198">Walking out on the almost dry riverbed <img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_0869.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Hubby was hucking rocks and bet me I couldn't get the splash he was going to make.  I was set to Q and had my 18-55mm on so this is a crop but nailed it <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /><img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_0876.jpeg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />I liked the clear water and shadows of my boys and trees<img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_0879.jpeg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Double shadow I'm thinking the sun coming from the right made the thick dark shadow and the glare from the snow on the left made the lighter shadow<img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_0882.jpeg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Pretty soon the mountains will thaw and this bank will be under water and the park and walkways above will flood.  <img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_0916.jpeg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Hubby also bet me that I couldn't capture these birds.  I'd been down leaned against tree focusing on mallards but I got got them too and all 3 shots turned out pretty good in my opinion no blurs or fuzziness<img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_0948.jpeg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />I like the shapes of the dry stream bed but couldn't decide which way I liked it better.  Can't wait to learn about leading lines in my class <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /><img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_1117-1.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /><img src="http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff447/serjay04/NIK_1113.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />I had so much fun trying things and with my 70-300mm I got to see wildlife up closer than I'd have been able to see with just my eyes</blockquote>
