Using a D800E which is approx 900g + Nikon 24-70mm f2.8G (900g) + Nikon SB900 (414g) plus batteries will weight approx. 5 lbs give or take a few especially if you want to add a battery grip.  That's 5 lbs pressing against your shoulder or around your neck.  Regardless on who makes the strap, my set-up will tire you up within few hours of walking around.  This gets worse if I use the 70-200mm f2.8 lens. :eyetwitch:So, I guess for now, my current strap will have to work since I included a seat belt strap that uses a memory foam to soften the weight a little bit.</blockquote>
