I did and was able to get a 55-200mm f/4-5.6 for $149 new (I bought it for my D90 at the time). I'm not sure whether that was an exclusive offer through Amazon, but I'm pretty sure same lens was higher elsewhere. This lens and the 85mm lens were the only two times I remember seeing Nikon lenses discounted without requiring a camera purchase. </p><p></p><p>Hmm...maybe I will set up a watch on camelcamelcamel.com for Nikon's 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G lens via Amazon and see if it shows up for a discounted price before Christmas.
