It was thrilling&nbsp; to see these cats up close but it was also sad to hear the reasons that&nbsp; had caused them to be there. These images are not what one&nbsp; would characterize as typical of those posted on the Nikonites Forum.&nbsp; They were hard to get because all of the big cat enclosures are framed&nbsp; in with double chain link fences. Between the two fences are walkways&nbsp; for the folks who feed and maintain these beautiful creatures. I had to&nbsp; use what Panasonic calls &quot;pinpoint&quot; autofocusing and aim through holes&nbsp; in the chain links.
