Camera takes 32 exposures shifting the sensor to 4 different positions. View-NX then will process them into a single NEFX file. This gives me a 96MP image from a 24MP camera. My vintage 2010 photo editing PC keeps puking on the export process, so I had to copy the NEFX files to my newer laptop to complete the process and save as a TIFF file to edit in GIMP.
