I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the beginning of last December. I have been taking oral medication and spent March and April undergoing a lot of radiation treatments. The oral medications and the icky side effects must continue for another 18 months, but here are the PSA numbers now following my last oncology appointment. PSA tests are how the cancer is being measured in me and basically they will need to remain near this level for the next 18 months before I am considered clear.
