[h=5]Hello, I'm new here. I'm going to a make-up convention and I want to take the best pictures. I usually go with the 50mm lens on aperture priority mode. What setting do you recommand ?That goes fot the speedlight as well because it's a big room and it doesn't have what to reflect of . And when I take pictures of an eye what can I do so the pictures would be more vivid, with lots of colour and detail? Thank you![/h]

Welcome to the site :)

Sounds like you'll want a diffuser of some kind on your flash. I assume it will be on-camera?

Will you be able to bounce the light off of the ceiling or will it be too high? If not, a modifier like the Rogue Flashbender or something to that effect will be helpful.

Camera settings will depend on the area you are in and the lighting available. Trial and error works well.

I have the stock green diffuser and the one that gets out of the camera next to the card (SB700). Which one should I use? Or should I buy a better one?
The modifier is interesting. I'll search in my contry for something like it.
Thank you for the advice!

Did your SB-700 include the following accessories?

Do you have the white diffuser in the upper left?

Thanks

Use the white diffuser in the upper left from the post above. You mentioned the Green gel I would not use it for what you are doing I think it would give a strange color for what you are doing.
