Best Lens for Food/Macro Shots

After the best lens for my FX (D750) camera in regards to taking food photography and macro shots. Tamron lenses only as I get great deals on that brand atm.

I find a 50mm non macro on a FX body works for perfect for food photography

I have the 24-70mm I should add, in the next week or two should also have the 15-30mm.

I was looking into the 90mm VC.

I have been eyeballing the Tamron 180mm macro lens here lately.

Me personally I would shoot with the 60mm 2.8 Nikon... 2nd would be the Tammy 90mm. However considering how far you want to shoot from, I am sure either would be a good lens.

Hi,

I bought the SP 90mm F2.8 1:1 VC USD - tbh I haven't removed it from the box yet, same as my 15-30 vc usd. I aim to test the macro over the coming weekend though. I haven't used to many so I might not be the best person to ask sorry, for the price I paid for my macro lens it was a no brainer. Hopefully she gets me some nice shots
