my brain just exploded. :applause:

I can't imagine the cost of something like that. The controllers alone must cost thousands, especially with that many channels. Most of the lights look like LED's too.

Apparently it's a family business: Holdman Lighting - Animated Christmas Displays

btw, here's the full show from that year:

(go to the video at wizards in winter - it's awesome - looks like an homage to the original guy that got popular on youtube and got a beer commercial out of it; pay attention to how the trees are sequenced on the right)

It's not as much as you think. Depends how many channels you want to run. You will spend more in lights and extension cords than you will on software and hardware. I am very familiar with this. Light-O-Rama* Computerized Shows. I had the software for over two years now and have wrote a couple of shows but have not bought any hardware yet.

Was going to go for it in 2012 but came up short in the budget department. Also plans are in 2013 we will be moving. Part of my install will be making permanent mounts on parts of the house and I didn't want to do that and have to take it all down or apart when we move.

So just like the Chicago Cubs.....Wait till next year :tongue-new:
