I would start with the 18-140mm if it's available as a kit with the D3300. I agree with the other lenses mentioned...the 35mm, 105mm macro., 300mm for longer shots. The benefit to the 18-140 is that it covers everything other than the longest reach of the 300mm, and make a great walk around lens so that you don't have to change back and forth as much. With the 18-55mm, I find myself either switching lenses a lot, or not taking compositions due to the lack of reach, but that may be just me.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk</blockquote>
