If it doesn't make adjustments until it does. </p><p><strong>Benro Ball Head:</strong> The BH0 would not be my first suggestion but it seem like a decent ball head.</p><p><strong>Tiffen Filters:</strong> Skip these for now and put your money elsewhere.</p><p><strong>Nikon SB500</strong>: Pass on the SB-500 and get the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-YN565EXN-USA-i-TTL-Speedlite-Warranty/dp/B00I44F59A/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412264504&sr=1-2&keywords=yn+565+ex+II+nikon" target="_blank">Yongnuo 565EXN</a> instead; a lot more power at a fraction of the cost.</p><p><strong>Nikon 55-200mm:</strong> Again, it wouldn't be my first choice but it's a good little zoom and it's cheap.
