If you happen to be up in the early morning hours on Oct 15th, there will be a 32% illuminated moon with the Beehive open cluster right above it and Jupiter above the Beehive. I am not sure if the moon will washout the Beehive. On the 16th the moon will be 23% illuminated, and the Beehive will be about center between the moon and Jupiter. The Beehive is a pretty cluster that has been used to tell if there are storms on the horizon. When I first saw the Beehive, it was low on the horizon and really pretty. I might set up my camera and see what happens if I manage to get up or not go to bed those nights. Probably will be the 2 nights I don't have insomnia. 🙄 This information was gathered using Stellarium. If I find there is an error, I will edit the post.
